For a first class fair this was the worse ever. 1. Long delay departing. 2. Long time landing. 3. Late getting car hire. 4. No compensation whatsoever. Do I need to say more. You check it out yourself.

Flint is a city of some 100,000 citizens in the state of Michigan in the north of the United States. For much of its history, it was a centre of the motor-manufacturing industry. The world headquarters of the Buick brand was in Flint. The film ‘Roger and Me’ charted the decline of the city’s motor industry. Today much of the city centre has been regenerated and visitors will find there is much to enjoy. An official self-guided walking tour of the central area is the best way to get to know the city. The route takes visitors to the city’s architectural landmarks, including its art deco skyscrapers. The Flint Cultural Centre is the location of a variety of museums and attractions. It was constructed in the city’s boom years, during the 1950s and 1960s. The Institute of Arts has an impressive permanent collection. Among the star attractions are impressionist and post-impressionist paintings and a selection of 17th century French tapestries. The Buick Gallery and Research Centre is home to dozens of classic Buicks as well as several unique General Motors concept cars. The Whiting Auditorium regularly hosts Broadway musicals. Atwood Stadium is a large stadium where sports fans can enjoy games of semi-pro American football.
Flint is a sprawling city, spread over a wide area. Most locals use cars to get around their city. Visitors may find a rental car is the most useful option. The city’s Mass Transport Authority runs buses on 14 routes at a rate of two per hour and tickets are very reasonably priced. A bicycle trail, the Flint River Trail, is an ideal way to explore the river by bike.
Flint is served by Bishop International Airport (FNT), approximately 6 miles (10 km) from the city centre. Rental cars are available at the airport and taxis can be reserved in advance. The journey time to the city centre is about 15 minutes, depending on traffic. Buses of the Mass Transport Authority operate a once-per-hour service between the airport and the city centre, with a journey time of about 30 minutes, again subject to traffic.
Bishop International Airport (FNT) is situated just 7km (4 miles) from Flint, Michigan. The airport can handle international flights, but it gets most of its air traffic from within the United States and Canada.
The airport is well-stocked with shopping and dining facilities, as well as a number of other amenities such as bars, gift shops, and ATMs.
There are only a couple of airlines offering flights to Bishop International Airport. Major cities with flight connections to Flint include Detroit and Cleveland.
Many passengers choose to fly through smaller airports for a more personal experience – and fewer taxes and fees. Bishop International Airport currently offers the lowest average airfares in Michigan and its small size offers a more personal, welcoming experience.
